25-Year CIGA Guarantee
As members of the Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency ( CIGA ) scheme, all cavity wall insulation installed by Keep Sheffield Warm comes with an independent 25-year guarantee against faulty materials and workmanship.
The CIGA Guarantee is your proof, if you wish to sell or let your property, that you have had cavity wall insulation installed by a reputable organisation, using an approved system. As such, the document should be stored safely with your deeds. The guarantee is fully transferable to the new owners whenever a property changes hands.
Before having any cavity wall insulation installed, you should always check that your chosen installer is Registered with CIGA (www.ciga.co.uk) .
BBA - The British Board of Agreement
All cavity wall insulation installed by Keep Sheffield Warm is done so using materials and a system of installation rigorously inspected by the British Board of Agreement. This ensures that the materials are continually manufactured to the same strict standards and that the system of installation and methods of work employed by our teams meet the manufacturers guidelines at all times. BBA inspectors carry out site visits, at short notice, whilst the work is being carried out, together with post-installation inspections on a random sample of all of our cavity wall insulation work, ensuring that our high standards are maintained.
NIA - The National Insulation Association
For your total peace of mind, Keep Sheffield Warm is proud to be a member of the National Insulation Association ( NIA )and promises to follow their Code of Professional Conduct at all times. Membership of the NIA means that we will always work to the best possible standards of customer care and to the best possible technical and professional standards.
