It seems that some companies only want to cherry pick the "standard" jobs. At Keep Sheffield Warm we enjoy a challenge. From installing loft insulation and cavity wall insulation in large modern buildings, such as the Hallam Community Hall (pictured right) to contributing to the renovation of the Abbeydale Picture House (see the photograph on the "Home" page), where we will installed over 700m2 of loft insulation over the barrel-ceiling of the main auditorium, Keep Sheffield Warm is there to help.
But we don't only take on large projects. If you are building a small extension to your home we will give you a competitive quote. With prices from as low as £50-00+vat, it is probably cheaper to have the walls insulated with mineral wool than to build in insulation boards at you go, which would slow down your bricklayer.
PLEASE: If you are thinking about having a new building insulated, contact us at the earliest opportunity. We will then be able to liaise with you to install the insulation from inside, as soon as the building is water-tight, and before your plasterers go in, giving you a neat, tidy and 100% invisible job!
Grants
There are generally no grants help with the cost of insulating extensions or new-build properties. However this does depend on the purpose of the building. If, for example, you are building a new, downstairs, bathroom for the use of someone with limited mobility then there may well be local authority funding available.
